DCIL inks deals worth`17,645 cr at IMW in Mumbai

Visakhapatnam: Dredging Corporation of India has total signed 22 MoUs worth ₹17,645 crore with 16 firms during the India Maritime Week 2025 event held in Mumbai.
DCIL operates under a consortium of four major ports— Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA), Paradip Port Authority (PPA), Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), and Deendayal Port Authority (DPA). The MoUs were entered with promoter ports Visakhapatnam, Paradip, Jawaharlal Nehru, Paradip, Deendayal, Shyam Prasad Mukherjee, Cochin, Chennai, and Mumbai Ports for catering to their dredging requirement for next 2-5 years.
MoU was entered with Cochin Shipyard Ltd for construction and repair of dredgers as part of the modernisation initiatives under Atman Nirbhar Bharat. MoU was signed with NMDC, Abu Dhabi for formation of JV for partnering with foreign major aiming at increasing operational- efficiency, and global competitiveness.
